Today, I have to make an announcement about my horror/comedy novella, The Accidental Zombie.

Three years ago, Kellan Publishing published The Accidental Zombie. Now, we have parted ways, because I chose not to renew my contract.

I intend to explore other options for The Accidental Zombie, but for now, it’s unavailable. I’ll alert you as soon as the situation changes.

In the meantime, don’t forget I have several other published stories you can check out while waiting for my comedy to return.

Yes, it’s a short post today, but I wanted to make sure to let you all know you can no longer buy The Accidental Zombie. Thank you for all your support!

Update: The Accidental Zombie is no longer available from Kellan Publishing.

If you haven’t read my horror/comedy novella The Accidental Zombie yet, there’s never been a better time!

Following a few reviews that pointed out flaws with the novella, I went back through and revised it. Not only that, but the print version has been redone with a better cover (don’t worry, the cover image itself remains the same), and even a new, lower price when you buy it straight from my publisher!

You can buy the newly revised edition of The Accidental Zombie at Kellan Publishing for $0.99 (ebook) or $8.00 (print).

If you prefer Amazon to the lower price, you can also buy it there for $6.99 (ebook) or $8.00 (print).

As you might know, two of my stories have been published by Kellan Publishing. Kellan Publishing is currently having a special deal where you can get one of their published ebooks for FREE just by applying a special coupon code at the checkout.

Of course, you can do this for any book they sell (but you can only get one for free, mind you), but if you’re interested in picking up one of my stories, you have two options.

First, there’s The Accidental Zombie. This one is a novella about two scientists who accidentally create a zombie, and their misadventures as they try to track it down in order to stop it.

As the description suggests, it has some elements of horror, because a rampaging zombie is at the center of the plot. However, it’s lighthearted and humorous, with more attention given to the goofy scientists than to anything scary.. The Accidental Zombie is a comedy, so you can enjoy this one even if you aren’t a horror fan.

Even further on the lighthearted side of the spectrum is my short story “A Special Present,” a Christmas romance story found in Love Under the Mistletoe.

Now, if your eyebrows flew up at the sight of that cover, I swear “A Special Present” is a sweet, G-rated romance story. It’s about two of Santa’s elves who have fallen in love, and their struggles to reveal their feelings during the Christmas season.

On the other hand, if you’re disappointed at the thought of reading a romance set at Santa’s workshop, three other short stories are in the collection along with mine: “The Ghost of Christmas Past” by Jasmine Bowen, “Last Chance Junction” by Lauren Murphy, and “Love’s Bah Humbug Debugger” by LaRae L. Parry.

If you’re interested in getting one of these books for free, all you have to do is go to its page at Kellan Publishing, add it to your cart, and begin the checkout process. When it asks you if you have any coupon codes, enter the following code for a full discount.
