Capcom has announced its TGS 2026 plans, and it includes a Capcom Spotlight on September 16 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET.
Now, we’ve gone over this before. The “Capcom Spotlight” branding usually means they’re going to provide updates on games they’ve already announced, without revealing anything new.
But hey, it’s not unheard of, so why stop hoping for Ace Attorney?
According to Capcom’s TGS page, their TGS lineup is Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen, Mega Man: Dual Override, Pragmata, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and Street Fighter 6.
(Why Pragmata? Is it getting DLC?)
If the Spotlight focuses on already-announced games, it would probably be those and maybe the Code Veronica remake.
However, I don’t think it’s impossible that we could get an Ace Attorney teaser out of this… or perhaps an announcement of a later event where we’ll get news (for real this time). Meanwhile, if an Ace Attorney game was announced at a Nintendo Direct or something beforehand, then the Spotlight would be the perfect time to show more.
