Wholesome Direct

Guess who watched the Wholesome Direct this afternoon and completely forgot to write about it!

Well, better late than never. I’ll be covering the highlights, so be sure to check out the full showcase if you want to see all the games that were shown.

There were a lot of life sim / town management sorts of games this time, so not a lot stood out to me. Still, Moonlight Peaks continues to have one of the more entertaining premises for a twist on the genre.

Usagi Shima also got an October release window. That’s the one where you create an island for bunnies, which is cute enough that I’m curious about it.

Petal Runner continues to look like an interesting game, too.

Finally, I’m curiousa bout Tales of Seikyu. Even though it’s a farming sim, which I’m not typically a big fan of, this is one that looks interesting to me. It’s been out in Early Access for a while, but now it’s finally getting its official release later this month.

Those were the highlights for me from the Wholesome Direct. Which games stood out the most to you?
