Nintendo is giving out 3DS codes for the Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate demo, and each email sent out includes an extra demo to give to a friend. My friends either got their own demo codes or don’t care, so like with the Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire demo, I’m going to give my extra code to one of you.
The Monster Hunter series has never really interested me. Everyone raves about the games, but the footage I’ve seen doesn’t appeal to me. I didn’t think I’d like Bayonetta games at first, though, and we know how that turned out. 2014 was the year of unexpectedly great games for me, so I decided to give my demo a try.
And… I still have no interest in Monster Hunter.
Oh well, I know there are plenty of fans out there who love this series and can’t wait to try the demo! Leave a comment about a game you didn’t expect to like and ended up loving, and I’ll randomly select a winner tomorrow morning at 11 AM EST.

I got Dragon Quest IX for Christmas once which I had never expected but I also got a game I really wanted so I thought I’d be playing very little of DQ because I hadn’t played any of the games in the series. Turns out I’d put in waaaaaayyyyy too many hours.
As a die hard Eastern RPG – Fan i always was afraid that the new Pokemon Series on 3DS is way to casual to please my dark souls hardened heart, but i must admit that Omega Ruby is way more interesting and catchy as i thought it would be. Surprised i got surprised by a Pokemon game? But surprise! The Pokeformula is working 😉

Well, I didn’t expect the game Prototype 2 to be that fun, but I ended up LOVING IT! It’s an XBox 360 game and it’s so fun! XD
So honestly. For me this year it was super mario 3d world.

but this one. I had a really bad feeling.

i felt like I waa going to start playing this game then bam, my pineapple house would be gone. Devoured by bony little fish.
I was however;pleasantly surprised.
Really because I got to be a cat a lot.
Like a lot. It was pretty great tbh.
So, what really surprised me was that i like fantasy life for 3Ds. All the cute kind of chores and the quest in the colorfull world were an welcomed escape from the dull everyday.
