Time for some otome news again!
When the 9 R.I.P. Sequel was confirmed for localization, I wondered if it would be released in October for Halloween.
And it will be!
9 R.I.P. Sequel got a release date trailer yesterday confirming that it will be out on October 27, 2026.
Since the story deals with ghosts and spirits, that’s a perfect time of year for it despite it not being a horror game.
(Preorders are available for the physical edition, but I’m waiting on the limited edition. I’m still so happy that this one is getting a real limited edition instead of just a “plus” edition like the last few otome games from IFI.)
Now, games have a tendency to languish in my backlog, but I’ve been looking forward to this time enough that I’ll probably play it at launch. As for the others I still need to get around to… well, we’ll see.
