PC Gaming Show
All right, the second showcase today was the PC Gaming Show, and this time I decided to just cover the games that stood out to me the most instead of going through each and every one (especially since the showcase lasted two hours).
They actually started we a game that was shown last year and looks as interesting now as it did then: Soulstice.
They also showed an interesting tactical game called Tactical Breach Wizards, which I wasn’t too interested in at first until I noticed that it seems to have a fair amount of dialogue and some humor mixed in.
A fair amount of time was also devoted to a game called The Invincible, which is based on a sci-fi novel I’m not familiar with. It seems to be focused on exploration and narrative, and it looks like it could be good.
The Alters is a game about working with alternate versions of yourself, which is an interesting premise, and a new horror game called Decarnation looks particularly creepy.
Speaking of creepy, there was a new trailer for the System Shock remake, another look at Immortality, and another trailer for Scorn, which went into more detail about the game. Scorn won’t have any dialogue, making use of its atmosphere and environment instead.
Ahead of that, there was also an announcement for a tactical RPG called Demonschool. I’m not sold on it yet, but I’ll keep my eye on it.
Deliver Us Mars was also shown, which I’m looking forward to since I enjoyed their previous game, Deliver Us the Moon.
Gloomwood also looks like an interesting game, as does the unusually-titled Backfirewall_, a puzzle game about an old operating system that doesn’t want to be updated.
No big surprises came from the PC Gaming Show, but these were the highlights for me. Which games from this presentation stood out the most to you?
