Three years ago (has it really been that long??), we discussed Winter’s Wish: Spirits of Edo, an otome game that took me by surprise.
While I’d expected to enjoy it, I wasn’t prepared for how exciting some of its routes were.
Winter’s Wish didn’t end up becoming an all-time favorite or anything like that, but it’s a game I quite enjoyed, so I was excited to hear that this year’s Otomate Party included the announcement of a fandisc for Japan.
Of course, there’s no guarantee that means it will be localized, but it’ll be something to hope for!
(The other thing to hope for will be that it follows the pattern of many fandiscs and include a route for a character who couldn’t be dated in the first game, by which I mean I need a route for Yabuta and I need it yesterday.)
Meanwhile, I have plenty of games in my backlog to play until then, so I can wait.
