Luigi’s Mansion 3 was one of the highlights of E3 for me, especially the Nintendo Treehouse gameplay segments, but the one disappointment was that it didn’t have a release date yet.
But now it does!
Luigi’s Mansion 3 will be out on October 31, a fitting date for a spooky game.
When the game was first announced, I was excited and hopeful that it would feel more like the original than Dark Moon.
Everything I’ve seen since then has just made me more excited, from their comments during Nintendo Treehouse about how they adjusted the style and structure after looking at feedback from Dark Moon, to the confirmation that you can explore the hotel once you’ve unlocked a given floor and that puzzles will make use of multiple floors.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 is one of my most-anticipated games of the year, and I’m excited we’ll be able to play it on Halloween.
Are you planning to get Luigi’s Mansion 3?
Guess you’ll talk about it in Celebrating All Things Spooky 2019…!
Since that ends the same day the game comes out, I probably won’t be able to review it as part of Celebrating All Things Spooky… but perhaps a preview or early thoughts?
If I had a switch I would get it. The first two were very enjoyable. 🙂
I loved the original. Didn’t care too much for Dark Moon. It was okay, but I disliked a lot of its design choices, which is why I’m so pleased with what they’re saying about 3.
A lot of people seemed dissapointed by 2. Putting it on a portable device was a strange move. Loved the game myself though.
The mission-based structure is the part I disliked the most.
