Operation Backlog Completion 2026

We’ll have more TGS news to discuss soon, but first, two games I worked on are now available on Steam!

The first, you might be expecting after it got a Steam page last month, Parachronism: Order of Chaos.

Parachronism: Order of Chaos is an action RPG with life sim elements. I worked on the story as an editor and also worked on text for side quests.

A second game I worked on came out on Steam this week as well.

Two Till Midnight is a survival horror game with rogue-like/procedural generation elements, where a demonic entity hunts you through a mansion. I wrote the in-game notes that reveal the story and backstory, as well as some of the puzzle clues.

(I know there’s some irony here since I’m not a big fan of life sims or procedural generation.)

Anyway, Parachronism: Order of Chaos and Two Till Midnight are both available on Steam now, so if you’re interested in either of them, take a look!

In all the excitement with various reviews, Yakuza news, and everything else this month, I almost forgot to announce that Parachronism: Order of Chaos now has a page on Steam.

For those of you who weren’t following my blog way back in 2015, Parachronism: Order of Chaos was the first video game project I was hired to work on.

Now, after many changes and updates, it is finally nearing completion with a whole new art style and other improvements.

Parachronism is an action RPG with life sim elements about a girl who finds herself transported back in time to a strange land where she is recognized as the fugitive princess of the Western Sea Kingdom, on the run after the Eastern Sea Kingdom attacked the palace.

The life sim elements include time management, relationship-building, a day/night cycle, and more.

This is one of the projects that really helped me get my start as a freelancer, so it’s a strange, wonderful feeling to see it finally nearing completion. If Parachronism: Order of Chaos sounds interesting to you, be sure to check it out on Steam.

Last month, I posted about the Kickstarter campaign for Eternal Radiance, the action RPG / visual novel hybrid I’m writing the script for.

I’m pleased to say the Kickstarter was a success!

Eternal Radiance met its funding goal early on and then made the first stretch goal as well. While we couldn’t quite reach the second stretch goal, it was a great campaign overall.

You can still check out the Kickstarter or website if you’re interested in learning more about the game, and of course you can ask me any questions you have as well.

I’ll be hard at work writing the next part of the script. Eternal Radiance is planned for the PC, PS4, and Switch. Are you planning to pick it up when it’s finished? And if you tried the demo, how did you like it?
